Our books come in a variety of formats, and we will be happy to advise you on the most suitable solution for your book in its intended market. Most of our titles are available as e-books on a large number of electronic platforms, through online booksellers or our online book store. For institutional customers (libraries, institutes, companies, etc.) we are offering direct online access to electronic content (e-access) through our website.

• ibidem offers you comprehensive, individual support throughout the whole publishing process, from proposal draft and peer review up to submission of the final draft.
• Our books are produced to the highest standards. We print on acid-free paper to make sure your book can still be read in hundreds of years. We even offer linen and leather hardcover bindings and gladly fulfill requests for special editions and additions to the book.
• We offer many choices beside the standard paperback and hardcover. Our e-books are available as e-pdf, e-pub, and mobi. An Open Access version can be made possible.
• Guarantee of availability: As long as you leave the exclusive license to your book with us, it will stay in print. Any necessary re-prints are automatically done by us.
• Worldwide distribution: We benefit from multiple distribution channels all around the world through our partner organizations. In the UK we are distributed by Gazelle Book Services, while in the US and Canada as well as Asia and South America we are proud to be represented by Columbia University Press. In the D-A-CH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) our books are distributed through Europe’s biggest wholesalers such as KNV, Libri, and Umbreit.
  For China, we partner with Inspirees for marketing and distribution. They approach academic libraries in regular road shows and through the Beijing Book Fair, and import physical books to China.
  For institutional customers (libraries, institutes, companies, etc.), we are offering direct online access to electronic content (e-access) for their users and / or employees through our website. Our books are also available to both libraries and individuals on a large number of e-book platforms such as EBSCO or PROQUEST.
• Every ibidem book author who is a European citizen or holds residence within the EU has the option of claiming a one-off royalty payment from the German copyright licensing agency VG Wort (www.vgwort.de). may receive more information either from us or directly from VG WORT.
• High author’s royalties.
• We send review copies to academic journals that you designate to us.
• Design and, if desired, provision of promotional flyers and other advertising materials for your book.
• On request we provide editing and proofreading services.
• Translation and Licensing Management: If you are looking to get your title translated into foreign languages, we can facilitate foreign rights negotiations with destination publishers all over the world. Licensing negotiations for alternative publishing formats, such as audio books, are possible as well.
• Our authors benefit from our vast network of global partners and continuous presence at the biggest book fairs.

ibidem publishes a variety of successful book series. If you think your manuscript would fit well into one of them, you are very welcome to submit a proposal either to our author support or to the editor directly.
