The paperback is the most common format for scientific publications. Our paperback editions are extremely durable thanks to high-quality printing and binding. The most typical trim sizes are A5 (5.8 x 8.3 inches), B5 (6.9 x 9.8 inches), or A4 (8.3 x 11.7 inches). Other sizes are available upon request. Paperback binding can be done for books of up to 1,500 pages length, but hardback binding is the better option for books with 600 pages and more.

Hardbacks are often used for edited collections, large textbooks, and highly specialized monographs. Their strong binding makes them extremely durable for frequent use, e.g. in libraries and university repositories. They normally come in the same standard trim sizes as the paperbacks, special sizes are possible on request. We can also accommodate for bookmark ribbons and other extra features.

If desired we can additionally offer hand-made cloth covers with fully customized, stamped embossments and dust-jackets. This unique format is most popular with commemorative publications (Festschrift) or other special occasions. For the most distinguished occasions we can even provide hardcovers with leather binding and gold embossments, manually produced by artisan book binders.

All of our books are available in printed as well as digital form through multiple e-book aggregators to individuals and the library market.
